Baby, Baby, Baby Nursery - Naomi of Design Manifest

First, apologies on the no go post yesterday...I was off taping an episode for Steven and Chris (insert excited face- still can't really believe that I get to be on TV and on a show I adore to boot...happy times) and was pretty pooped afterwards so...took a bloggy holiday as it were.

On the show note, stay tuned (if you're in Canada) on January 29th...my dream high/low nursery will be displayed in all her glory.

And PS, #projectbaby is going to look a WHOLE lot like it so those wanting a sneak peek of my plans, now's your chance.

But for now and since we're on the baby talk vein, I'm happy as 'I know I would be if I ever got to visit the Dixie Highway with a large u-haul and a giant wad of cash', to present another episode of...

And hold on to your hats folks because we've got design superstar, Naomi of...

Design Manifest

...visiting, which means you know we're in for some goodness.

There's just something about this girl's eye for layered/traveled glamour that feels so damn good.

And as you'll soon see, her take on nursery utopia...well it's like a  rainbow sprinkle donut to a 5 year old.

Enjoy.

......

.......

And what did I tell you?

Pretty sure Ms Manifest has design superpowers...up until receiving this board brilliance in my inbox, I would have told Billy Bob and all his neighbours that I hated the colour red (in decor that is)...BUT...I'm pretty sure this heavenly scheme has just completely changed my mind- the whole grey/red palate is just SO unexpected but totally ridiculous and by that, I mean totally AWESOME.

Love every inch of it.

And speaking of things I heart, don't forget to enter my current giveaway...the prize is a no strings attached, $500 CASH windfall.

Good stuff all around.

Ooooh so different! I love the moroccan touches! I also love how you can tell a design is Naomi's. She's got such an original taste! Love love.

LOVE Naomi! This nursery is so great. I agree I'm usually not a fan of red in decor. Probably because it is so hard to get right. Of course Naomi nailed it.

This series is one of my favorite series! It is so fun seeing how other bloggers would tackle a nursery...and Naomi did a spectacular job (as would be expected ;) )

Color on the wall will influence the mood greatly. Color could accentuate or set the mood. You would probably want to have more tranquil, serene space, go for the light colors which actually serenade these feelings. Bold and energetic colors like bright red, or Orange aren’t conducive for that, take our word, go for the pale blues and greens for desired calming effect.
