First let me just say that my brain has frozen due partially to pregnancy but mostly because it's literally -20 degrees outside... Celsius that is.
I'm not sure what that is in US numbers but sufficed to say, it's effing murderously cold...the kind of cold that makes thinking/breathing/smiling/laughing...anything 'ing' in nature primo difficulte.
I just dropped red off at school and with a very hot coffee in hand, I'll attempt to get some sort of coherent post out...
Here it goes.
1. #projectbaby is progressing well.
I had my carpenter/do it all dude over last night and we mapped out what's happening on the walls...not sharing that tid-bit right now but it will be yummy.
Also, I've now got my eyes firmly planted on this baby...
...as a an option for the room...it satisfies well my need for something pretty and hubster loves the idea that he could actually sleep on it.
Of course, it's not exactly cheap...funnily enough, hubster laid out the moula situation by asking if I could sell it in 5 years or so for say, half the purchase price...his logic being that if it could be sold (when maybe we no longer needed it- like that will happen;) than you think of the cost of ownership as the difference between the two numbers...can I just say that the fact that his brain inherently knows how to rationalize a large purchase by using mathematical logic = SEX to the 'E'.
We shall see as it were.
On the flip side of the money coin, I'm considering one of these puppies for the ceiling light...

It's all sorts of fabulous in my humble opinion and rings in at less than $100 boneages.
I'm also continuing to debate art options...more on that later.
Oh and sconces...they are happening...once I decide on either black or white that is- leaning towards the later.
2. Dream House
I want this to happen.
And if it does, it will look just like this...before furniture that is...

...and it might have a bathroom that resembles this...

...and though I know highly unlikely, I'd give my left something for this sort of action...

...sorry for the blurry photo- no idea why that's happening.
In any case...approval?
4. I spoke of my girl's shopping trip on Monday...part of the reason we were out was to source stuff for #projectfoyer...in case you might not remember, I'm slowly designing the entire house, after finishing #projectlittle miss...oh and PS on the later front, I promise a big reveal next week- just have to get my but over there to take some pictures.
So....#projectfoyer.
Client and I officially decided on the Arteriors Caviar XL pendant for the ceiling...

The knit toque-esk light for babes room is too cute, and so happy the Caviar is happening, it'll look wicked! And on the hair front, I think the blonde bob looks great on you:)

I say don't cut your hair until after the baby is born and until you feel like you again!
All adorable choices and the architectural details on those walls, ceiling, doors...to die for! Hang in there girl! My brain is quite frozen as well even though I'm not prego :)

The persian in Mac's room- I LOVE!!! Gorgeous. That daybed/chaise is delicious, too!
Glad to know I'm not the only one that cuts my own hair all the time!! Hairstylists get so mad at me when I tell them!
Your dream house needs to happen, just so I can live vicariously through you!

YES to the daybed, the soft light, and to the persian in Mac's room! i would wait until after the baby is born to cut your hair. i'm sure whatever you do will look great, but it is so pretty! so sorry to hear about the mean comment and glad you delete them.
OMG all of those moldings are seriously killing me. Talk about a dream. LOVE that bed in place of the others you were wanting. SOOOO much for practical and just as much beautiful!

I'm impressed by your "no nastiness" stance on comments - I think that's marvelous.
About the haircut - my hair was actually glossy and thick(er) during pregnancy, so it was in the weeks/months after the birth that my hair didn't look very good. It was then that I needed haircuts and conditioning treatments. Maybe it varies from person to person? You have lovely hair all the time, so perhaps there's no great difference during pregnancy? (My miserable hair actually looked good for the first time during pregnancy.)
The persian rug looks great in the room. And I love the chandelier you found for your client.
that crochet light in the bombdiggity! - and those floors *sigh* .. DON'T CUT UR HAIR! - this is from a girl who LONGS for long hair!
boo to catty bitches. yeah for calling it out. the persian looks great in there.
Dying over that stair runner/ light combo! And I loooove your long red hair but I know sometimes you just need a change!

Excellent information and facts. Only real difficulty I was basically receiving was viewing the pics. No idea exactly why.

You had me at "cutting my own hair." Woman, you are crazy and awesome, and I LOVE it!
Love that London-town design board.
Iffy on the knit light.
Moving in when you build that house. ;)

P.S. - Can you convince your husband to host a "How to evaluate your Wife's purchases" webinar for our hubsters?
There is so much to love in your posts- always some client peeks, beautiful things to look at, some lovely personal stuff and kid stuff, lots of REALity feelings and genuineness- if that all makes sense. Youre the best, and you'll look fabulous whatever you do with the hair. I love your long locks, but I know with babies who pull on it, it will be up out of the way a lot, so I understand if you cut it. Women and their hair= never happy it seems.
